Absolutely beautiful knife in every way... the button is a bit sticky when you get it, but after a few weeks it loosens up and is smooth to depress. No the knife does not close when hitting the back like some of Vosteeds other button lock knives... I tried a few times to get the lock to fail, didnt SMASH it but gave it some nice thwacks and very secure which is extremely important to have confidence in my knife when working with it.
