I recently got to use this a Lot on a camping trip. Had a 25 degree edge and was using it for just nonstop wood processing of all kinds. still used common sense, keeping the edge away from rocks, not applying stresses from exotic angles or prying, not a single chip or anything on the part of the blade. I get it, its 3V at 25 degrees on a thick knife, nothing should have happened, but I was still very happy. No worries in my mind putting this thing through rough use. YouTube reviews like the DBK guys mentioned the actually quite worrying HRC ranges found in this knife but they still found it satisfactory and so do I. I was less pleased with other design elements. I thought the handle was ridiculous, super tiny rubber handle that just utterly failed at fitting the human hand. My knife has a diy beefed up grip made from electrical tape. The sheath's belt loop is gigantic (the sowed in belt loop, not the button attached extension), to the point where if I use it on my normal sized belt and try to pull the knife out, there is so much slack that I need to pull the sheath itself a good bit before there's even enough force to start pulling the knife. Those two things truly did bother me. As for the rest of the construction and fit, it is very confidence inspiring. The sheath is very pleasant, both good looking and feeling, and the knife slides in and is retained very well (without the electrical tape). The steel is also kind of gorgeous, so many little spots and particles with so much depth, combined with the tiny laminations I expect to be machining marks, this is a genuinely really quite pretty blade in my experience. Sharpens fine, and I'm satisfied by the steel properties as stated.
