Lightfoot 

The Lightfoot is designed by Jeremy Boulder Valentine, owner of Valvian Edge Craft LLC.  Originally conceived in early 2024, this compact fixed blade has been carefully refined through a limited series of custom builds, with a strong focus on performance, durability, and ergonomic versatility.

The production version is crafted from 0.23" thick Böhler K329 steel and features CNC-machined weight-reduction pockets for improved balance and reduced carry weight. An exposed, chamfered tang enhances comfort and control, allowing the knife to perform confidently across extended use.

Each Lightfoot comes with custom-made G10 scales, allowing users to carry the knife with or without scales, depending on preference and intended use. The compact profile measures 6.6" overall, with a cutting edge of approximately 2 inches, making it ideal for everyday carry and precision tasks.

The highly versatile grip supports multiple gripping positions, allowing seamless transition between light-duty EDC tasks—such as box cutting—and more demanding applications like game processing. A custom dark-washed finish adds a distinctive, refined appearance while maintaining a rugged character.

For this project, the Lightfoot is paired with a carbon fiber–style Kydex sheath or a camo pattern, selected to complement the knife’s clean lines and deliver a more luxurious, modern aesthetic.
