About Design

The Foosa is named after the cat-like predator that reigns at the top of the Madagascan food chain. Much like the animal, this knife is slim, agile, and discreet—yet delivers powerful performance when it matters most. Designed as a fixed blade for reliable everyday carry, the Foosa features a clean, functional profile paired with a subtle tanto blade, making it well-suited for a wide range of EDC tasks. 
The handle is shaped with simplicity and ergonomics in mind, offering a natural feel in hand and accommodating various grip styles. It is available in two distinct configurations: one with weight-reducing cutouts for a more lightweight, modern look, and another with a solid scale for a cleaner, more traditional feel.

About Designer

Like many young boys, Rolf Helbig carried a pocket knife from an early age. In 1977, when he began working alongside his father in the kitchen, his chef’s knife quickly became his most essential tool.
At the time, knife steels were evolving, and through his own research, Rolf developed a deep interest in metallurgy—realizing that a knife is never just a knife.
With the Foosa and the Weasel, he set out to return to a simpler time, when a knife was a straightforward, practical cutting tool guided by common sense.
