Spyderco Salt 2 Folding Knife, H2 Steel, FRN Black, C88PBBK2

The Salt® 2 combines all the salient features of the best-in-class Delica® 4 Lightweight model with the extraordinary corrosion resistance of H-2 steel. These include enhanced ergonomics, a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern on the handle, a high-strength back lock mechanism, and a black-coated titanium pocket clip that supports left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. Unlike the Delica 4, which uses stainless steel liners in the handle, the Salt 2’s linerless handle is molded from two pieces of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and fitted with four sets of threaded stainless steel inserts to mount its four-position clip. All other metal hardware on the Salt 2 is also machined from special marine-grade alloys and black coated for extreme corrosion resistance. The heart of the knife is its ultra-corrosion-resistant H-2 blade, which is hollow ground and available in both PlainEdge™ and fully serrated SpyderEdge™ configurations.

The Salt 2 is available in two versions—one with a satin-finished blade and a high-visibility yellow handle and an all-black version featuring a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) blade coating, a black FRN handle, and black-coated hardware. Both offer a choice of two edge configurations.
