Very tight strong lock, the flat grind makes it a great slicer. I have cut air brake hoses, plastic packing, wood, copper wites, lifting straps and nylon crane straps full of oil and gravel and mud. It is as easy to sharpen as s30v easily. It gets scary sticky sharp with 4 strokes on a ceramic. It is the super steel you hear about. Use it for months then barely touch it to a ceramic and it is beyond a razor again. I am buying all the Maxamet spydercos.
