Blades delivery was fast as usual. Disappointed with the feel and quality of this knife. The blade is terrific but the overall construction of the knife feels cheap. It’s great weight but Spyderco’s decision for the pocket clip screw is terrible. And only having a washer on one side - the action does not feel crisp. I’m one of many who have a pocket clip screw that was either over tightened or maybe they used red locktite instead of blue. Either way, mine stripped even though I was super careful when unscrewing. And despite being so tight it stripped, the pocket clip was loose - so maybe it was cross threaded. I’m replacing the scales with AWT aluminum scales and had hoped to keep the stock scales just to keep all the original parts. But because of the stripped screw I will have to drill out around the plastic of that one screw so I can take apart and re-use it in the AWT scales. The number of people you see in forums who have a stripped clip screw - Spyderco should revise how this clip is attached. They should use hardware that has a torx fitting on both sides. For the price, that should be a given - not some cheap molded crescent shaped hole in plastic that strips too easily.
