Very tight strong lock, the flat grind makes it a great slicer. I have cut air brake hoses, plastic packing, wood, copper wites, lifting straps and nylon tow straps and more and have yet to sharpen it. From my para2 I know it is as easy to sharpen as s30v easily. It gets scary sticky sharp with 4 strokes on a ceramic. It is the super steel you hear about. Use it for months then barely touch it to a ceramic and it is beyond a razor again. I am buying all the Maxamet spydercos.
