Overall, I like this item. It locks up solidly and can pack a punch.

However, the included hand holster started to come apart after 2 uses, I threw that away.

The extendable rods are held in the handle when closed with a fairly strong magnet. It takes some practice to get the rods moving, a quick wrist flick helps.

The belt clip is strong and holds securely in a pocket. To retract and unlock the rods, a sharp downward strike on a hard surface is required. Strike as vertically as possible for the best effect.
