This item comes in a sturdy shipping tube. Online company videos show a wrench for maintenance but my tube only had the baton and an instruction sheet.
The action is smooth and reliable, easy to flick open, easy to retract using the end button. The tubes are free to rotate when locked open.
I have not tried the glass breaker yet but it should work.
The pocket clip is strong and holds well in a pocket. I bought this length because is fits just short of the bottom of my jeans pocket. The 21" model likely would not.
