ERMES is the commemorative knife designed with the Special Operative Helicopter Regiment (R.E.O.S.) which is part of the Italian army aviation.
R.E.O.S. is the operational unit of helicopters supporting the special forces composed by specifically trained staff, particularly trained and equipped in order to support military activities in every operational context.
The stylized knife guards represent the wings present in the heraldic symbol of the regiment.
“ERMES OPERATIVO” with burnished blade
The steel used is the reliable Bölher N690Co heat treated at 58 HRC. Fiberglass-reinforced polyamide FRN (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) was chosen for the handle.
The hybrid sheath in Kydex and fabric has a belt attachment with MOLLE system.
