I purchased this knife probably 8 years ago (on the advice of nutnfancy) and despite some personal issues I have I cannot fault the quality in any way. The handle is too short (for me) for any real hard use, as I can only comfortably hold it with my index finger in the choil. That being said I have sectioned and batoned small trees without losing the edge. Primarily I use it for skinning,food prep and kindling. I can do larger game without resharpening,(even hammering through bones and joints) where as my grohman stainless would need constant work to keep it cutting. It is a little thick for my taste but I'm not afraid of breaking it. Oh and the Sheath system is super slick.
