While I have been a long-faithful Cold Steel fan I am not much of a fan of this particular model. While the knife is wonderfully-light and therefore a great EDC that weight benefit comes with a price: there is no steel liner on this model. This makes the blade rely on the handle for strength, a job it can't really be expected to do. This gives the knife a very uncharacteristic and ever so slight degree of play which I find disconcerting. The Atlas system works just fine and the 3" Tanto blade is everything that Cold Steel is but that the blade has any wobble at all is unacceptable, especially in a Cold Steel knife and at this price point.I'm considering sending it back to exchange for something else by Cold Steel.
