I get crippled up with Gout sometimes and I bought this to help me hobble around when I need it. If you use it indoors you need to buy a rubber tip or you'll slip and fall. I found a package of 4 Rubber Chair Tips by Waxman at Lowe's for $3.99 CDN. The 1" size fits perfectly. Item #0246509 is what the package says. I didn't use glue, it pressure fit on and I can't budge it. Another great product by Cold Steel! I also have the Ten Shin which comes with a rubber tip.
