Everyone went crazy for the 4 Max,(which I have),, but this is far and away the superior knife. Cut, chop, pierce, excellent. But for such a big and heavy knife, there's a real finesse to it. I'm a rural service tech, and this is my go to, daily work knife. I do fine paper manipulation with it,, and power cutting along with Bush chopping, and the occasional batoning. Never dug with it but I'm sure it'd make a hole. Last point, I own a few S35vn knives, and they really got the heat treat to the sweet spot. In my opinion of my collection, this one's got the best edge retention of 30 plus, mid to high range knives I've got. And it's so flat, I've long since forgot it's presents in my front right pocket. Definitely the only thing in that pocket. Got use to the weight, fast.
