The Elementum ‘s Button Lock Brother
The Altus is a great compliment to the Elementum. It’s blade profile cutting edge is slightly longer & pointy due to no choil. It deploys really well after a bit of a break in with drop shut action & centered with no blade play. Fit is four finger comfortable with no hot spots (I have a medium men’s glove) -for a large hand might be somewhat cramped. It’s a perfect size -slightly hefty in feel but that seems to suit the knife. Love the burgundy/ black colour combo ...overall a great & handsome tool-a fittingly brother to its Civivi brother -the Elementum-the knife that really got me back into knives.
