This is a great looking knife with an amazing blade shape, blade steel and design strength. The cruwear steel stays sharp for forever literally. The heat treatment was done right on this knife! The handle is only decently grippy but, you can squeeze it really well due to its size so it works. The knife is heavily reinforced. The Axis lock will need a lot of breaking in. Because the axis lock is so large, and the springs don’t match the tension well, it’s not great for intense hitting on the blade but will do everything else perfectly. Definitely better once broken in well after a couple months. I recommend this knife to anyone looking for a great outdoor companion. It puts a smile on your face when you deploy it. It feels special when you take it out of your pocket each time and use it!
