While developing the P150, our goal at ANV was to create a compact and versatile fixed blade knife for users who need to work efficiently with the space and weight of their gear while still relying on a dependable fixed blade for everyday use.

The drop point blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel hardened to 57–58 HRC and, thanks to its 4 mm thickness, offers increased strength and durability. The GRN handle material helps keep the knife’s weight low at just 93 grams, while the 97.3 mm blade length still provides enough cutting edge for most common and moderately demanding tasks. The overall design is completed by a Stonewash blade finish, and black Kydex sheath.

One of the key features of the P150 is its minimalist Kydex sheath, designed from the beginning with a strong focus on mounting versatility and efficient use of space within modern gear setups. Today’s tactical equipment often operates with very limited available space, which is why the goal was to create a system that allows the user to adapt the carry setup to their own needs.

Due to the specific construction of the sheath, we also developed the new ANV Mount attachment system. The knife comes with a 1.5 × 1.5 inch mounting plate featuring standard 0.75 inch spacing and a pair of lower-profile belt loops compatible with both standard and tactical belts up to slightly over 5 cm wide. At the same time, the system remains fully compatible with MOLLE and other attachment platforms, allowing direct mounting onto plate carriers, vests, and other parts of the gear setup.

The P150 model was designed by Petr Janda, who is also behind knife designs for brands such as KA-BAR.

ANV Mount: mounting plate with lower-profile belt loops
higher carry position using 60 or 75 mm MOLLE straps mounted to the plate, or a single MOLLE strap attached directly to the sheath (available at ANV)
direct attachment to pants using the Ulticlip Slim 3.3 (available at ANV)
Monoblock for horizontal belt carry (available at ANV)
direct attachment into laser-cut MOLLE systems (e.g. plate carriers or vests) using a zip tie*
TEK LOK systems (instead of the ANV mounting plate)
FOMI clips
soft IWB loops
DCC and other compatible clips and carry systems for front, rear, or pocket carry

* The lower section of the sheath near the blade tip is narrowed to fit directly into the standard 1-inch spacing commonly found on laser-cut MOLLE systems used on modern tactical gear and plate carriers. Experience from real-world use has also shown that a simple zip tie is often enough to achieve a secure and reliable attachment. Sheath retention can be easily adjusted using a screw and threaded insert positioned near the guard area, where the knife is primarily retained. Especially when mounted on a vest or gear setup, where the knife is typically drawn one-handed, increased retention allows for a more secure hold inside the sheath.

In terms of size, the P150 sits between the P100 and P200 models, but its overall character is closer to the larger P250, sharing the same focus on tactical and military-oriented use. During development, we also wanted to keep the knife as affordable as possible without compromising quality, because we know many military and armed forces personnel purchase their gear using their own money and need equipment they can rely on even when they least expect it.
